A Little Merry Christmas For You

Christmas Tree

What a week! What a month! I am very much looking forward to taking a break from blogging, spending precious time with my beautiful family, and soaking up the joyous moments of this holiday season.

Truly nothing in my life would have meaning without that sweet, deeply-held belief that this glittery, bustling, wonderful Christmas season exists because of a precious baby born thousands of years ago in humble circumstances only to become the Savior of the world…for me…for all of us.

I am endlessly grateful for that knowledge and the opportunity it gives me (and sometimes forces me) to recenter and reprioritize. Again and again.

To all of my valued readers, I want to take this moment to Thank You for being such wonderful “listeners” all through the last year. Putting my thoughts into words and sharing them with you here on my blog is a great privilege. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Thanks so much for reading, sharing and commenting.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas filled with special moments spent with those you care most about and all good things in a bright, healthy and happy year for 2018.

Home Is Where The People I Love Are

Prince George

During my drive home to be with my family for Christmas, I found myself in the midst of a fatal car accident that occurred west of Prince George. As I sat on the side of highway 16 for 5 1/2 hours I was reminded how fragile life is. You just can’t take it for granted.

Christmas Family

My heartFor me home is where my family is. The places I have gone home to have changed over the years, but one thing that hasn’t is that home is where the people I love are.
